Meridian Meats, renowned for their Home Produced Longhorn Beef and Rare Breed Lamb Freezer packs have for some time recognized that whilst providing the most economical way to buy, these can be too large for smaller households or those with limited freezer space.

Generous part-funding from the Lincolnshire Wolds Sustainable development Fund was secured in the autumn of 2004. This has enabled us to acquire a purpose built Refrigerated Farm Shop trailer, so we now provide the opportunity for you to purchase individual items from our range of Home Produced Longhorn Beef and Lamb from Rare Breed ewes.

When not attending Shows and Food fairs (see our events page) the Farm Shop is open weekly on Thursdays from 10am to 7pm and from 10am to 4pm on Fridays and Saturdays here at the Mansion House in Tetford. In addition to our own Longhorn Beef and Lamb, we also stock an extensive range of Fine Foods and Lincolnshire Specialities.

We are constantly adding items to this range of specialities. We have Ready meals made using our own Longhorn beef and lamb. We offer a variety of different flavours of Speciality Beef Sausages that are wonderful on the BBQ (Beef & Guinness, Beef & Coleman’s Mustard, Beef Provencal for example) Also for the BBQ season we can recommend our delicious Chargrill Steak Burgers made from our Longhorn Beef. We also stock Local free range Eggs, Home Made Cakes, Lincolnshire Honey, Award Winning Local Preserves and Chutneys from Scotts Fruits, Smoked and Plain Dry Cured Bacon, Gloucester Old Spot Pork, our own Lincolnshire Stuffed Chine and Lincolnshire Pork Sausages, Haslets and Pork Pies as well as delicious locally produced cheeses including the famous Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese as well as Cote Hill Yellow Belly and Cote Hill Blue.

Please call and see us when you are in the area, there is sure to be plenty to tempt you, and if the weather is good you can see the animals grazing the nearby pastures. If you are unable to visit us in Tetford, then we can supply most items by mail order.
